Shipping Information

NEW ZEALAND - What are your shipping methods and how long do they take?

We offer free delivery (1-2 working days) of online orders throughout New Zealand. 

We aim to dispatch your order within 1-2 working days. All orders are sent on an overnight courier service. We will notify you as soon as possible if there is a delay with your order. All orders placed on weekends and public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

For all our orders, we use a Courier Post Signature Required track and trace courier packs so they are in safe hands. We ask that a physical address be given for delivery so that the package can be signed for on delivery. If there is no one to sign for the package when the courier driver calls, they will leave a Card to Call with details for redelivery.

Your track and trace number will be emailed to you once your order has been dispatched. To track your package yourself, have your track and trace number ready and either call CourierPost on 0800 COURIER or visit www.courierpost.co.nz

non-signature required option is also available on request, if you would prefer this service please stipulate this in the Special Instructions field in the checkout page. 

Please note if you have 'Authority to Leave' activated, this will override the Signature Required option on your order. If you would like your order to be accepted by signature, we recommend contacting Courier Post prior to placing your order. Please note that 'Authority to Leave' may have been set up for your address by previous residents so if you are unsure, please contact Courier Post to confirm. If 'Authority to Leave' is set up for your address, Glass People will unfortunately not be liable for any lost or stolen packages.

Rural Deliveries
Rural deliveries can take an extra 2-5 working days or can be delivered to the nearest Post Shop if most convenient. 

OTHER COUNTRIES - What are your shipping methods and how long do they take?

We use the International Courier service by the New Zealand Post. This option allows us to track the parcel and offers the peace of mind of requiring a signature upon delivery. It has a 2-6 working day delivery target and sends parcels to 53 key destinations worldwide.

We offer the International is available for $25 to most metropolitan areas. We will be in touch if your delivery address is outside of these zones. Items which are shipped internationally may be charged custom taxes/duty by the recipients country direct to the customer. We recommend checking with your countries customs if your item will incur charges.

Easy Returns & Exchanges

NZ & All Other Countries - What if I want to change or cancel my order?

We try to fulfil orders very quickly; that said, please email us at info@glasspeople.nz and if your order hasn’t already been sent we’ll try to find a solution. If you’re unsure about your purchase, all you have to pay is the return courier fee. So you could check it out and return it to us within 30 days of purchase and we will give you a full refund on the purchase price.

All items are to be returned in new/unworn condition, in their original packaging and within 30 days of purchase.

Unfortunately we are not able to accept items for return if they have been specially ordered, sized, engraved or altered. 

Certain promotions may also mean an item is unable to be returned - if this is the case it will be clearly stated with the item details during the promotion period.  

We will cover the cost of return shipping within New Zealand if the item is faulty. We can provide a return courier pack within New Zealand, please get in touch with us for more information or to arrange a return courier pack. Unfortunately we are unable to cover or reimburse the cost of return international shipping, or accept liability for customs duties or taxes.

Online orders could also possibly be exchanged in person at any scheduled market day.  Please note that each piece is unique so check with us for availability of your preferred item.
